O' Woman, do not despair
For every trial and tribulation - Lead to a great reward
A widowed mother made a vow
From a pure lineage
A baby girl was born in old age
Given as a gift to the Holy Sanctuary in Jerusalem
In seclusion she remained in the purest form
Devout in her worship
Through God, her miracles came forth
From unseasoned foods
Prophet Zakaria's عليه السلام prayer of acceptance
He too became a father in old age
As Jibreel عليه السلام came forth,
"Shake the palm tree," He said
Fresh dates fell to the ground
A miracle to humanity - Prophet Isa عليه السلام was born
She was indeed Maryam
A Servant of God 🌹
O' Woman, do not despair
For every trial and tribulation - Lead to a great reward
A man came forth
Pharaoh - believing himself to be God
An oppressor indeed
Slaying his people for unbelief
Married to a wise woman
Devout in her worship of the One Creator
An unbreakable relationship
A dark day came
Brutally tortured by Pharaoh
She left this worldly realm
In complete submission
She met her true Lord
She was indeed Asiyah
A Servant of God 🌹
O' Woman, do not despair
For every trial and tribulation - Lead to a great reward
Commanded by God
"Breastfeed your child"
Fearing for His life
Placing Him in the Nile
In complete submission to the will of God
"This child shall return to your arms"
Swept gently across the Nile
In the hands of Asiyah
He became the coolness of her eyes
His mother looked from a distance
Not suckling from the women folk
And in her patience
He returned
Reunited with His Mother
Suckling her milk with ease in her blessed arms
She was indeed the mother of Prophet Musa عليه السلام
A Servant of God 🌹
O' Woman, do not despair
For every trial and tribulation - Lead to a great reward
These are the Women in the Qur'an
They walked this earth in
Patience
Gratitude
And conviction in One God
With every trial and tribulation in hand
They are indeed Great Women in Islam
Yours truly,
The Servant 🌹
